Bed Bugs are nasty little critters and there’s quite a few misconceptions about them. Before we show some bed bug images, let’s get a few facts straight.
Bed Bugs Are Big Enough to See
Most adult bed bugs are about half the size of a raisin — between 3mm to 5mm. They are a brown, reddish color. Despite a few “you can’t spot bedbug myths” floating around, YES, you can see them perfectly fine.
Bed Bugs Only Come Out at Night
People usually don’t see bed bugs because they hide during the day and come out at night — usually late night/early morning. If you want to see them during the day, you’ll have to force them out.
Throwing Away Infected Mattresses Won’t Get Rid of Bed Bugs
The first thing that people try to do to get rid of bed bugs is throw away the bed bug infected mattress. This WON’T get rid of bed bugs folks — bed bugs might live in your bed but they likely be in other parts of your home as well. Treating your bed bug problem is NOT so simple.
